求職信一般都兩種，一種是針對投行，咨詢，會計，律師所等專業領域的求職信，另外一種是針對MT跟ST的求職信，本文只適用于后者，特此說明。
求職信的作用
可以幫助你推銷自己，其目的是為了找到一份理想的工作。信中應清楚地表明你所要申請的工作、你的能力及你能做些什么，形象地描述你的資格和取得的成就，把你自己以最佳的方式顯現在未來的雇主面前。
點評
專業的英文CV跟CL的制作都是用Palatino Linotype字體，由于新浪博客沒有這種字體，只能用Verdana代替，正文用斜體。以下是我的CL，基本的個人信息位于正文的右上角，包括姓名，聯系方式等，為了符合閱讀的方便性，電話號碼要斷開，例如：135-6015-XXXX，方便人家撥打通知面試的時候。正文我習慣分成四段，嚴格來說，只可以是三段，有點類似托福的作文。我的第一段是寒暄段，說明一下自己從哪里獲得招聘信息跟自己的興趣;第二段結合公司要求概述一下自己的能力與專業水平;第三段概述選擇該公司的原因與考慮;第四段表達感謝與等待回復。聽過Mckinsey的全球副總裁說過在篩選Candidate的簡歷的時候，首先看的是CL，CL只看第一段，如果第一段有價值才繼續看第二段，如果第二段有價值，才看CV，最后確定Interview的shortlist.
