Study on determination of related substances in balofloxacin by RP- HPLC
【Abstract】 Objective The reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography method was established to determine the related substances in balofloxacin.Methods The column is SMT C18(250mm×4.6mm×5μm).The mobile phase is compound solution of acetonitrile and 0.4% lauryl sodium sulfate(47:53)[adjusted pH to 3.0 by citric acid(1.5mol/L)], the detection wave length is 295nm, the flow rate is 1.0ml/min. Balofloxacian and all of the related substances can be separated efficiently with this determineation of the related substances in balofloxacin. Results Balofloxacian and all of the related substances can be separated efficiently with this condition. The method is accurate, simple ,rapid and exclusive.Conclusion It could be used for determination of related substances in balofloxacin.
