              托福口語評分標準1——“地道性”

              其實還不同于地道的語音語調,更多指的是使用符合美國人習慣的固定搭配的詞匯短語和多樣化的用詞。比如表達學生想要調課,”switch class”比 “change A to B”更符合美國人的習慣; 表達一切都妥當使用” It’s all set”。更多的使用符合美國人習慣的表述方法會令你的口語更“地道”,也向考官證明了你完全能適應美國的學習。而同一個意思選用不同的詞來表達,對于考官來說是一種“信號”:表明考生具有一定的語言基礎。

              最后如果想讓托福口語分數得到26分以上,恐怕考生需要在語音語調上多下一些功夫,特別要加以注意的是糾正一些中式發音,學會和美國人一樣抑揚頓挫的表達。這樣才會讓自己的口語水平有所提高。

              托福口語評分標準2——“完整性”

              指的不僅僅是考生把答案說完了,更重要的是指支撐論點的細節信息。比如:僅回答“我喜歡放松的時候去公園。因為第一公園空氣好,第二有綠樹和鮮花讓我心情好,第三我可以在公園里拍照。”這樣是不完整的,缺乏更多細節信息來支撐分論點,為什么公園空氣好?綠樹和鮮花怎么能讓你心情好?舉例說明你為什么喜歡去公園拍照?所以你休閑的時候喜歡去公園。切忌因為害怕說不完,將每條理由都說的很短。

              托福口語評分標準3——“邏輯性”

              指的是考生說話的條理和框架,在回答問題之前是不是有主題句,是否有幫助理解的轉折詞和連詞,每次表示分論點時是否清晰明了。

              Eleventh hour:最后時刻

              He turned in the report at the eleventh hour.

              From the word go: 一開始

              In the long run:長期

              The product can help you to save money in the long run.

              Jump the gun:草率行事、操之過急

              Don't jump the gun. We have to be patient for a while.

              put something On hold:稍等

              The decision was put on hold until a meeting of the party's central committee.

              Shake a leg:趕快

              Shake a leg! The bus won't wait.

              quick off the mark:馬上行動

              Be quick off the mark if you hear of something promising.

              Step on it:加速

              If he didn't drive faster, we were going to be late, so I told him to step on it.

              Time on one’s hands:有空余的時間

              I've got extra time on my hands.

              Under the wire:在截止日期前, the last minute

              He applied the college just under the wire.

              Until the cows come home:一直的、很晚很晚
