　　1. Get one's monkey up

　　"To get one's monkey up" 又作 "to put one's monkey up"，意思是發怒，生氣。例如：

　　She gets her monkey up if you tell her she is wrong.(如果你說她錯了，她會火冒三丈。)

　　2. I will be a monkey's uncle.

　　"I will be a monkey's uncle." 在俚語中表示驚訝。在它的前面常可見感嘆詞"Well"。例如：
