1.租房場景
這種題型，以前看人也介紹過，并且很詳細，這里把他們總結在一起。
首先辨別是租房還是買房。forlease與for sale
房子的類型有：flat,apartment,dormitory(dorm), student hotel,youth hostel
一般房子有的家電或設施有：bedroom,kitchen, stove, fridge, microwave oven, washingmachine,air-condition, electricfans, radiator, electric stoves
床上用品有
pillow,pillow case, bedlinen, sheet, mattress, blanket, towel
房子位置：
road(rd.),street(st.),lane,
門廳的叫法：hall,lobby,porch
租房的規律為：
離市中心越近，房價越高，位置稍偏，價錢會比較有吸引力;但便宜的
房子一般有不理想的地方：notnearthe center, not near the railway station, fall from the bus stop, neartheairport, noisy, shared kitchen, insects,a stranger in the next bed, havenoprivacy, have to prepare,some repellant ,insects haunting.
另外電話詢問看房子時：
is itavailable now? whenwill it be available?.(audiy.com)
is there atelephone? howfar is it from……? is it furnished?
what is therental price?how is it cooled /heated?
furnished:意為配備家具。
2.課外研究場景
主要是在課外研究一些小的項目，小的調查研究，包括對學校里各個地方，
食品(咖啡，小吃)等的價格的比較，這些看似不屑一顧的東西，個人認為，
這也是與文化背景有關系的，外國人注重人的實踐能力，從小培訓，
聽說他們中學生就開始寫長篇的文章，看中那個小男孩本，
研究毛毛蟲，就可看出了：
這部分主要注意聽力，特別關注的是人名，并注意先判斷男女。
有關咖啡的一些類型：
instantcoffee, real,espresso(功夫咖啡，蒸餾咖啡),cappuccino,
brewedcoffee,
另外一些關于吃的：
fish andchips, value formoney, greasy……………
3.圖書館場景
據說這部分不是重點。
主要注意的是時間，book名，作者，
一些單詞：borrow,lend,renew, available, out on loan,newspaper, journal, periodical, currentissues,reference books,category, catalog, date of expiry, be overdue, bedue,payfines, loan, period circulation desk,check out, reserve books, return intime,interlibrary service,can’t /mustn’t lend it to others.
reservebooks：指某一段時間比較搶手，熱門的書目，資料的租借時間
縮短。如果很多同學想使用同一本參考書，圖書館就會reservethis book.
考點：作品名稱，哪年出版，作者姓名，studentcard, library card，
借出費用，幾時到期，欠款多少等。
4.地理場景
一般是司機，導游，bbcprogramme介紹某個地方，城市的基本情況。
主要包括：名字，行政區劃;人口，語言風土人情;好處，不利;吸引人之處
distancefrom nearestcity, population,
advantage/disadvantage:注意轉折詞匯的運用：however,nevertheless,
on the otherhand
education,main industry:
climate/weather:wet andwindy, cold and wet, rainy, cloudy.
shape:rectangle
5.選課場景
涉及選課主要是對語言的選擇：
portuguese,italian,russian, arabic, mandarin, standard chinese,
cantonese,spanish.
選擇級別：
fundamental/elementary
intermediate
advanced
選課的時間，日期。
申請人：applicant,enrolment
admissionoffice
foreignstudent office,international student, oversea student
6.新生報到會
新生報到會，一般向新生介紹學校的設施，選課情況，學校的歷史，怎樣注冊，
應該做什么，不應該做什么。
一般由admissionoffice 的counselor來向新生介紹。
7.度假場景
度假地的選擇，交通工具的選擇，住處的選擇(這部分與租房類似)
付帳：check(美國)cheque(英)
express way(高速公路)，expresstrain(高速列車)
8.日程活動介紹場景
包括會議，節日，組織旅游等。
主要抓四類：when,where,what, why
convention(會議)
開場白經常由會議的president或者organizer進行自我介紹，然后介紹會議內容，
還要介紹會議的會期多長，經常考的考點---第幾次
要避免經典陷井，即聽力原文出現的并不是所需要的答案。
原：this is ourthirdannual retailers’ convention
q：how many conventions havealready been held?
a: 2
原：this is mysecondyear on campus?
q：how many years have youbeen studying at this college?
a: one year
另外常考的是會議地點，一般是在國家的首都。
9.個人健康場景
headache,got a headache,avoid smoky,
vitamins,maintaining ahealthy lifestyle, diet,
try to avoidsugar, salt,butter
not too muchmilk leanmeat, fish, nuts eggs
need lots ofbread,vegetables and fruit.
