2.occur vi.發生, 出現
e.g.The accident occurred at five oclock.
事故發生在五點鐘。

e.g.An idea occurred to me. 我想到一個主意。
The idea never occurred to me. 我從來沒有打過這個主意。

It occurred to him suddenly that he could try to escape through the secret path.

*renew, restore, refresh 都含“恢復”、“更新”的意思。
renew 系常用詞, 指“使已舊或已失去力氣、活力等物變新或復原”, 如:
e.g.I renewed my spirits in the country air.

renew a stock of goods
更新庫存貨物。
restore 指“把用舊、用壞的東西恢復原樣”, 如:
e.g.restore an old castle恢復舊城堡。
refresh 指“使恢復力量、精力”, 如:
e.g.refresh oneself with a cold shower 用冷水浴恢復精神。
passport n. 護照
e.g.school passport登記卡
service passport (visa)公務護照(簽證)
