　　隨著中國經濟迅速發展到新的高度，中國目前已經進入了大規模消費時代，中國民眾的購買力隨著中國市場經濟的發展而迅速增長。因此，那些追求物質生活的人們只要有購買力，就不可避免地會購買奢侈品。一項報告顯示，中國的奢侈品消費總額占全球市場份額的四分之一，且位居世界第二，僅次于日本。然而，從消費觀念方面來講，很多中國的消費者還處在“炫耀性消費”的`階段，這是一種不健康的狀態。奢侈品不應該是炫耀的手段，或者是與權力、財富和社會關系相關的標志。

　　As China has achieved new heights in its economy and recently entered an era of mass consumption, the purchasing power of Chinese people is rising along with the development of market economy. Therefore, it is inevitable that people who pursue material life buy luxuries as long as they can afford. According to a report, the total consumption of luxuries in China accounted for a quarter of the global market share and ranked second in the world after Japan. However, in regard to consumption concept, a large number of Chinese consumers are still in the stage of “conspicuous consumption”, which is unhealthy. Luxuries should not be the tools of showing off or signs associated with power, wealth and social ties.

　　中國通過運動員(mobilize)全社會的資源來發展學前教育。雖然當地政府會開辦幼兒園，但也鼓勵單位團體、社會組織以及個人去開辦幼兒園。幼兒園采用將兒童保育和教育相結合的.原則，并且保證幼兒得到體力、智力、道德和美學的(aesthetic)全方位發展。讓玩耍成為活動的主要形式，幼兒園創造了一個適于學習的良好環境，并且給嬰幼JL4f3提供機會和條件來練習和展現他們的才能。

　　China develops its preschool education by mobilizing the resources of the whole society. While local governments run kindergartens， work units， social organizations and individuals are also encouraged to open kindergartens. Kindergartens apply the principle of combining child care with education，and ensure山at the infants achieve all.round physical.intellectual，moral and aesthetic development.With play as the basic form of activity，kindergartens create a good environment for learning and provide the infants with opportunities and conditions to exercise and display their abilities.

　　難點注釋

　　1.第一句中，句子主干是“中國發展學前教育”，“通過……”翻譯為介詞短語;“學前教育”可譯為preschool education;“全社會的資源”可譯為the resources of the whole society。

　　2.第二句中，“雖然”還可以用although來表達;為避免重復，“開辦幼兒園”分別譯為了run kindergartens和open kindergartens。

　　3.第三句中，“采用……的原則”可譯為apply the principle of;“將兒童保育和教育相結合”可譯為combining child care with education。

　　4.第四句中，“適于學習的良好環境”可以用a good environment for learning 來表達;“給……提供……”可譯為provide…with…;“練習和展現他們的才能”可譯為exercise and display their abilities。
