2017年英語六級作文高級加分詞匯

◆1.“人們”的表達：
A.folks或individuals
【我直接都寫的復數形式】
B.如果想說“什么樣的人”就用定語從句“Those who…”.
【這里“those”就相當于“人們”】
例：Those who like buying lotteries…那些喜歡買彩票的人……
◆2.“……觀點不同”
A.They have very different points of view about the subject of money.
“the subject of”也可以借用，表示“在……的話題/主題上”
B.Folks' views differ sharply.
【人們的觀點大不相同】
C.The opinions concerning this hot/heated topic varies from person to person.
【可借用“因人而異”的表達：“vary from person to person”;“concerning this hot topic”也可借用，還可以說“concerning over the issue”可以視情況選擇】
D.“人們普遍認為……”的表達：
“It's universally/generally acknowledged that…”
◆3.“在……看來”
A.from one's perspective，……
B.hold the view that…
C.maintain【主張/認為】 that…
D.harbor the idea that…
◆4.“重視”的表達
“set great regard on sth”或者單詞“value”
◆5.表達數量
A.“大量/很多”
many a +可數名詞單數 ：many a student
a good deal of+不可數名詞：a good deal of excitement
B.“一系列”
a set of ：a set of rules一系列規則
◆6.“在一定程度上”
to some extent/in a sense
◆7.表“遞進”
A.“另外，再加上”
“……”.Added to this,“….”.
例：
Sara was very cold.Added to this, she had been deprived of her dinner, because Miss Minchin had chosen to punish her.
B.furthermore/what's more取代besides
C.如果是表示“不好的事情的遞進關系”，可以用“To make matters worse”
◆8.表示否定“幾乎不”
A.用“scarcely/barely”取代“hardly”
B.或者直接用“few”/“little”接名詞，表示“幾乎沒有”
【few+可數名詞復數;little+不可數名詞】
◆9.表示“然而”
A.nevertheless可取代however
B.whereas /while可取代although
這兩個是連詞表示一種對比的“然而/盡管”的意思
◆10.“……很明顯”
可以試著用一個句子表達
it is apparent/evident that…
例：
It was evident that a journey was to be taken, and it was Mr. Montmorency who was to take it.
◆11.表示“越來越……”或者“不斷上升的……”
可以只用單詞“increasingly”
例：China is playing an increasingly constructive role in Southeast Asia.
“中國在東南亞發揮著越來越具有建設性的作用”
◆12.“當前”的表達
“currently”取代“at present”
◆13.“面對/面臨”的表達
cope with/confront with
如果做狀語放在句首則為：
Confronted with sth，+完整的句子。
◆14.“xx節日快要來臨”的表達
be around the corner.
例：Christmas is just around the corner.
◆15.表達“喜歡……”
sb can't live without sth
sb be crazy about sth
sb be fascinated with sth
◆16.“只要/如果……的話”
用provided，作連詞
例：He can come with us, provided he pays for his own meals.
只要他付自己的飯錢，就可以跟我們一起來。
◆17.“總之”或者下結論
用“To sum up”取代“all in all”.
to draw a conclusion/as a consequence
取代as a result
