此次短對話部分還是沿襲了近兩年的考點，即：考察學生對日常對話的理解，需要考生在短時間內聽懂關鍵信息作出反應，難度與往年相當。具體說來，此次四級考題中的8個短對話有以下特點：
1場景分配來說，涉及學校學習話題的只有兩個題目，即14、17題;其余六個題目全都是生活場景話題。幾乎每個題目都有出現我們昂立曾經課上給大家講解過的聽力場景核心詞匯。
2 題目類型也都是歷年出現過的，例如11、14就是給對方提供建議的題目;16、18題都是先有鋪墊后有轉折的題目。
3 語音面貌基本上沒有改變，由于連讀、失爆表現較不明顯，因此難度不是很大。
4 此次考試中出現一個新的話題，即13題涉及了一個人的去世并且談到了葬禮。這個話題我們以前沒有談到過，可能讓很多考生始料不及。
