The University of Buckingham

　　學校介紹

　　英國白金漢大學(The University of Buckingham)是全英唯一一所私立(獨立大學)，2016TIMES排名第38位，1976年以白金漢大學學院的名字創立。1980年獲得英國女王的特許妝后正式升格為大學。現任名譽校長為英國前首相，大學有權頒授學位，其學歷國際認可，與中國教育部實現中英學歷互認。學校包含兩個校區：VERNEYPARK(LAW，PSYCHOLOGYAND APPLIED AND COMPUTING)以及HUNTER STREET CAMPUS(商學院及人文學院)。

　　特色介紹

　　學校設有兩年本科學制設置，分為三個入學時段– 1月/7月/9月。學校通過重新整合假期，為學生達到縮短學制的效果。假期安排如下：

　　Spring: 2周

　　Summer: 3周

　　Autumn: 2周

　　Winter: 5周

　　不僅如此，白金漢大學還推出了免Foundation課程的課程設置，也就是說國內3年高中畢業生，可直接申請Buckingham大一課程(不用上Foundation，解釋權歸大學所有)。

　　關于IELTS，大體上來說要求為Foundation要求IELTS最少5.0;Undergraduate要求IELTS最少6.5;Postgraduate要求IELTS最少6.5。

　　地理位置

　　白金漢大學坐落于英國英格蘭東南部白金漢郡白金漢，距離牛津很近(12英里)，距離倫敦58英里，離倫敦大約2小時車程，驅車由這里前往倫敦希思羅國際機場僅需一小時。
