我的課外英文老師叫謝霈晨，平時我們都叫她謝老師。一口流利的英文說得非常好聽，就像百靈鳥在唱歌。謝老師有一雙清澈明亮的大眼睛，高高的鼻梁，臉上總是掛著微笑，一頭烏黑的'長發，顯得格外漂亮。
謝老師上課認真，氣氛活躍。為了調動同學們學習英文的積極性，在課堂上謝老師總是會搞些小花樣。謝老師把同學們分成兩個組，進行比賽。用單詞說一句話，哪個組說得多，哪個組就獲勝。“準備開始！”教室里頓時鴉雀無聲，同學們都認真聽，生怕自己聽錯。謝老師讀完一個單詞，馬上就有同學舉手。大家都爭先恐后地舉手回答，爭取給自己的組加分……有的同學回答得特別好，謝老師就讓同學們鼓掌為他加油；有的同學把單詞用錯句型，謝老師微笑示意他坐下，認真聽別的同學回答。最后，謝老師激動的對同學們說：“你們是最棒的！”謝老師的鼓勵，激發了同學們學習英文的極大熱情。
